Ceramics courses & workshops in KABO
Dear friends,
NEW courses and workshops for beginning of 2026 are HERE!
You are also welcome to join our shared “Open Studio” every Wednesday, open from 2 PM to 8 PM. You can decide how many hours you'd like to stay. You'll be working independently, but don't worry – I'll be here and happy to help if needed, but experience with ceramics and glazing is needed!
I don’t have an online booking system set up yet, so if you're interested, please contact me via Instagram message or e-mail.
I’ll be adding another dates for more workshops soon. :-)
I would also like to thank you very much for your interest in this amazing material as clay and for supporting
a small local studio!
I look forward to all the new meetings!
Katka

Weekend workshop
"Wabi-Sabi with Kurinuki technique"
30-31/5/2026
11-12/7/2026
Wabi-Sabi teaches us to accept the beauty of things in their imperfections and incompleteness and Japanese technique Kurinuki is beautifully manifesting this mindset through creation.
For someone, imperfect work, for someone another, unique sculpture work hiding in a cup, bowl or vase.
3hrs workshop
"Bowl & cup/mug"
25/5/2026_MONDAY_5:30-8:30PM
29/6/2026_MONDAY_5:30-8:30PM
18/8/2026_MONDAY_5:30-8:30PM
Make a ball, knock & roll the slab out of it, bend it a little and create a set of plates.
It is a relatively simple process full of relaxation, suitable for ceramic beginners and the result is worth it!
Spring weekend workshop
"Make your own planter"
20-21/6/2026
Do you often bring home new plants? Whether they are from plant swaps or just were for "irresistible" prices, your new additions need to be replanted.
I admit that I don't like plastic planters too much, so I hide them right after bringing them home or I transplant the plant into something more pleasing to the eye.If you have it like me, I invite you to a weekend workshop to make your own original planters.
