What Happens When a Love for Ceramics Meets a Love for Good Food?

A slow, relaxing morning where you can unwind, create something with your own hands, and enjoy a seasonal brunch specially prepared for this occasion.

Together with my dear friend Nasťa, we've joined forces to create a new workshop concept that brings together creativity, delicious food, and quality time.

When you arrive, you'll be welcomed with a drink of your choice and a selection of small bites to enjoy. We'll then dive into working with clay and create several ceramic pieces that will continue to bring you joy long after they've been fired. We'll finish the morning with a seasonal brunch made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

I'll guide you through the entire ceramics process, offering tips and support along the way. Afterwards, I'll take care of glazing and both firings, so your pieces are ready to use.

Meanwhile, Nasťa will prepare a menu full of seasonal delights, making sure not only your hands, but also your taste buds, are well taken care of.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience. With a maximum of six participants, we'll have plenty of time for creating, chatting, and simply slowing down.

And if you fall in love with working with clay and would like to continue exploring ceramics, I'd be delighted to welcome you to my five-week ceramics course, where you'll learn the fundamental hand-building techniques and experience the entire ceramic-making process from start to finish.

BRING YOURSELF

An apron or an old T-shirt that doesn't matter if it gets dirty.

RECOMMENDATION

I recommend short nails if you don't want to constantly clean scratches :)

After workshop

• Your pieces will need time to dry before they are fired twice.

• After the first firing, each piece needs to be glazed on the inside (and, if agreed in advance, on the outside as well). I'll take care of all the glazing for you.

• Your finished ceramics will be ready for collection approximately 4–5 weeks after the workshop, by prior arrangement.
