Do you often bring home new plants? Whether they are from plant swaps or just  were for "irresistible" prices, your new additions need to be replanted.

I admit that I don't like plastic planters too much, so I hide them right after bringing them home or I transplant the plant into something more pleasing to the eye.If you have it like me, I invite you to a weekend workshop to make your own original planters.

The weekend course will be intense, because it is 2 days in a row, but also relaxing thanks to the work with clay. Ceramic offers a similar experience that people look for when baking bread or gardening, the so-called mental rest, when they see something new and, above all, something being created under their hands.

WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM THIS WORKSHOP

• 1-3 planters, the number depends on the size and your speed

• Basic knowledge of ceramic creation, where the production itself will be supplemented by theoretical information

• Experience of working with clay

• Basics of decorating - you will learn techniques such as sgraffito, engobe painting, polishing etc.

MATERIAL

• Clay: there will be two different types of  clays. One black and the other natural ochre

• Decorating: engobes used for painting your planters

• An instructor who will guide you through the process and glaze your pieces afterwards

An apron or an old T-shirt that doesn't matter if it gets dirty.

After workshop

• The workshop is followed by drying process and two firings.

• After the first firing, it is necessary to glaze the vase from the inside, or by  previous personal agreement from the outside, I will take care of the glazing for you

• You will be able to pick up the finished product after the phone appointment within approx. 5 weeks

For the workshop to happen is necessary to fill at least 4 participants.

In the case of unfulfilled capacity I will contact you with an alternative date or other compensation.
