Height approx. 5.5 cm, diameter 15.5 cm, volume around 400 ml.
This bowl made of black chamotte clay with a semi-matte glaze is not only an aesthetically striking piece but also a carrier of emotions and memories. Its texture, reminiscent of the icing on my mother's homemade gingerbread, evokes warm moments spent in the family circle, when the scent of freshly baked gingerbread wafted throughout the home. Thus, this bowl becomes not just a practical item but also a symbol of nostalgia and coziness.
When you look at it, its delicate lines and smooth surface invite you to pick it up. The bowl appears fragile and subtle due to its thin edges, which lend it elegance while simultaneously requiring careful handling. Therefore, I do not recommend washing it in a dishwasher; it deserves to be treated with the respect and love it merits.
Each use of this bowl is like a small ritual—whether you serve snacks for guests in it or present your favorite miso soup. Its presence on the table brings not only functionality but also aesthetic value to the home. Thus, the bowl acts as a bridge between the past and the present, between tradition and the modern life that constantly surrounds us.
Please note that each piece is one of a kind and will vary slightly in shape.
